Masai Mara is about 240 Kilometers from Nairobi. The driver/guide uses the Mai Mahiu road to Masai Mara with a stop over at the Rift Valley Escarpment and another stop over at Narok town. Nairobi to Narok town is 140 Kilometers and its a 2 hours 30 minutes drive and the road is tarmac until Narok town. You will have lunch at this small town then you will continue to drive to Masai Mara which around 100 Kilometers from Narok town. It will take another 2 hours 30 minutes drive to Narok town because the road from Narok to Masai Mara is Murram road. Most of the safaris to Masai Mara start from Nairobi and also a pickup from Narok town is possible.

Masai Mara is one of the largest National parks and the most famous for a Kenya safari. It is located southwestern of Kenya. The locals call the place the Mara. It is named after the local inhabitants, the Maasai. Masai Mara Game Reserve is the northern continuation of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. 1 Nairobi - Masai Mara

Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and drive to to the rift valley where we make the first stop to enjoy a scenery of the great escarpment. We then drive to Narok Town where we make a second stop over for lunch before we continue the journey to Maasai Mara. We reach to the Camp/Lodge late in the afternoon. We will have the first game drive late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight Stay at camp/lodge.

2 First full day game drive in Masai Mara

Enjoy full day game drives in the park in the morning and also in the afternoon. You will have a chance to see all the Big Five Wild Animals which include Lions, Buffaloes, Leopards, Rhino’s and Elephants. Dinner and overnight stay will be at camp/lodge.

3 Secont full day game drive in Masai Mara

Enjoy full day game drives in the park in the morning and also in the afternoon. You will have a chance to see the big Cats and more wildlife including Zebra, Hyena, Cheetahs, Warthog, Topi, hartebeest and Eland. Dinner and overnight stay will be at camp/lodge.

4 Masai Mara - Nairobi

We pack and leave Masai Mara early in the morning. We have a stop over at Narok, a rich Maasai town and have a chance to buy souvenirs from the locals. Arrive in Nairobi late in the evening at around 4:00 p.m. We will drop you off to your hotel or we will take you to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport depending on your request. End of Masai Mara Holiday.
